"I first met the owner/proprietor Angela in 1979 when I was a manager at Thomas Cook at Thorpe Wood, Peterborough.

We wanted to offer all staff a package of cleaning and other related items. We found that Angela proposed the best overall deal and at very reasonable costs. She also agreed to collect and deliver items from our in-house shop at no extra cost. The arrangement was a resounding success. Unfortunately we had to cancel the arrangement when management restricted our use of outsourcing. However, this did not stop Angela still offering the same service for the same items at her shop in the Herlington Centre to all Cooks staff.

In my dealings with Angela over the years I have always found her to be reliable, courteous, polite and what is perhaps more important always willing to help. Her knowledge of the dry cleaning industry is second-to-none. There is nothing Angela doesn't know about her 'business'. She is always smiling, welcoming and extremely helpful to all her customers. Well done Angela. Keep it up!"

My first experience with Schoffields Dry Cleaners is going back 8 months now - Was a repair that i myself tried to do on my Diesel Combat Trousers (DIY) i just made it worse. I thought that i had made them un repairable than no body would ever attemp to repair these, not now that i had had my hands on them. I had tried to take them to a Seamstress based in Peterborough Town, she turned me away with the reply of 'not possible - un repairable sorry'. We use Schoffields through work so i thought i would give them a call and see if they could help me, i explained to them what i had done, and how silly i was too even try and attempt too repair them myself as i have made them worse than ever. Help!! these are my best trousers.

Paul was dealing with me at the time he came across as very approachable i felt very comfortable and that he was listening to me. At the end of the phone call i felt as if the task was not too difficult or not achievable, i was made to feel reassured. And that it was no problem at all. My only mistake - i should have left it to the professionals in the first place!!! Lesson learnt.

They came back to me within a week Fast and efficient job very reasonable price, you would never tell that they have been repaired. One very happy customer.

Over the months i have been back to the shop many of times with Dry Cleaning for myself and my boss, both very impressed with the results i have even got my friend using them now by my recommendation and i'm sure she will have passed on more recommendations to her family and friends. My alterations still included of cause where would i be without them!!! not once have i been disappointed with the service or quality of their work. Schoffields always do their best to help and they always make sure that you are happy with the end results. The relationship i have built with all the staff is professional but also i could say personal as i do not feel like i am just another face. The dedication and efficiency of the team is outstanding but this also come with the experience they have had from the years of service to us all.
